The embroidery is based on a sketch by American artist Deborah Griscom Passmore for the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection catalog at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

A piece of ikat fabric. The ikat is handwoven, each kit contains a piece with a unique, non-repeating pattern.
An assortment of 100% silk Au Ver à Soie tapestry threads, 6 shades.
Bohemian beads on a light green thread.
A piece of wool gauze (rust-colored fabric) and brown fabric.
Interfacing for securing handwoven tweed.
Wool threads for warp threads in weaving.
Archival “crinkled” gold sequins.
Raffia.
Sequins 2 and 3 mm, Italy.
TOHO beads sizes 15, 11, 8. All round in shape but in different shades and finishes, 10 varieties.
Beading needles.
Drops – teardrop-shaped beads.
Miyuki baroque faux pearls.
