Kit «Naturalia 3. Walnut Praline»

The embroidery is designed based on an original illustration created using the silver needle technique and watercolor.
The ancient silver needle drawing technique was used by artists before the invention of graphite. The image is created with a silver stylus on a specially primed surface.

You can choose a kit option with a porcelain walnut shell and embroider the golden walnut kernel inside it, following the instructions.
The shell is cast from high-temperature Parian porcelain.

The new series of kits offers greater freedom for the designer and embroiderer.

Level: suitable for those ready to experiment and independently select a significant portion of the materials. For those who have at least some experience in embroidery or other crafts related to textiles.

A spark kit where you will find a vivid impulse in the form of exotic materials and interesting techniques. The theme will captivate you and allow your own solutions and discoveries to emerge.

Technically, it looks like this.
In the printed instruction booklet, I explain several techniques using the example of embroidering the object from the illustration. I provide recommendations on where to apply each material from the kit. In this kit, these include: creating various types of volume, appliqué, working with ribbons and gimp.

And then — your complete freedom! The creative excitement is activated, and you immerse yourself in one of the most exciting and enjoyable processes in embroidery — selecting techniques and materials for each detail of the design.

What’s included in the kit:

• 3-5 illustrations. One is original, featuring the embroidered walnuts, and several others for inspiration, with a similar theme
• linen as the embroidery base
• up to 10 materials with some amazing features. Vintage findings, rare fabrics, ribbons, sinamay, silk fibers...
• printed instruction booklet with technique recommendations and guidance on how to use the materials.
• video lesson where I share my experience in selecting techniques and materials during embroidery design
• video lesson on ways to frame embroidery not only for interiors but also as art objects.
