Amphorisk Pendant "Almond Nut"

Designed for the A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

2025

The pendant is inspired by a remarkable exhibit from the A. S. Pushkin Museum — a ceramic amphorisk shaped like an almond nut.
The almond tree, its fruits, and flowers played a significant role in the culture of Ancient Greece.
The pendant can hold fresh flowers and fragrant sprigs, such as rosemary or basil.

The photos show a version with an embroidered sprig of blooming almond. The flower petals are made of silk organza and velvet, enhanced with Luneville hook embroidery and hand-painted.

Pendant: bronze.

Embroidered sprig: silk organza and velvet, silk floss, wire.

Chain: hypoallergenic jewelry alloy.

Production time for the pendant: one to two weeks, depending on the jewelry workshop’s workload and order date.
